Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad is the largest non profit, non governmental organisation working in the field of Ayurveda globally.
Social reformers, thinkers and Ayurveda lovers were not happy about the status of Ayurveda in India. Respected Laxman Shrikrihan Ji Bhide was spreading indian heritage, culture and philosophy across the world. He along with respected Omprakash Ji , Dr.R.N. Pusalkar(Varanasi),Prof. Y.C. Mishra (Bareilly) Dr. Yogendra Singh(Delhi), Dr. B.B.L. Srivastava(BHU) Mr. Radhe Shyam Gupta(Lucknow) Mr. Prem Shankar Gupta(Lucknow) Dr. Manmohan Lal(Lucknow) , Dr Shaligram Gupta (Prayag), Shri R.R.Agarwal(Lucknow) and other Ayurveda enthusiastic gathered in Kashi and idea of starting Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad conceived on Varsh Pratipada in year 1997. The organisation was registered Under Societies Registration act 1860-Reg.No.-420/97-98. With Prof Jagnath Ji Sharma HOD Pharmacology All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
Organisation was served by well known academicians and physicians as its President - Prof. Jagnnath Sharma, Ex Prof., Pharmacology, AIIMS, New Delhi, Vaidya Vishnu Dutt Sharma, M.P.(Jammu), Dr. Raman Singh, Central Minister, G.O.I, Ex CM-Chhatisharh, Dr. Chhatrpal Singh, Central Minister, G.O.I. Prof. Y. C. Mishra, Ex Principal, Bareilly, Prof. S.P.Mishra, Ex. V.C., U.A.U., Dehradun, Prof. B.M. Gupta, Ex. Joint Director Bhopal , M.P.
Late Prof. PBA Venkatacharya Ji played a pivotal role for propagating the work of Vishwa Ayurveda Parishad and strengthen the organisation in all the southern state.
Vaidya Nand Lal Ji of Prayagraj organised Ayurveda Students residential visits to Chitrakut for so many years.

Our Mission

Creates awareness towards application of Ayurvedic principles in day to day life.

TRACES

To identify outstanding TRACES (teachers, researchers, authors, clinicians, entrepreneurs, and social reformers) working in the field of Ayurveda and bring them together on a single platform to leverage their experience and knowledge and work collaboratively toward the goal of connecting every family through Ayurveda.

Recognize immediate and distant challenges in the healthcare system and devise dependable, affordable, and long-term solutions based on Ayurvedic principles and practices.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

To develop the skills and competence of stakeholders of the Ayurveda fraternity, such as teachers, students, practitioners, herb farmers, researchers, and pharmacy people, by organizing seminars, symposia, workshops, awareness programs, camps, debates, practical demonstrations, publications, competitions, etc.

AYURVEDA PROMOTION

Exploring all possible opportunities, removing barriers, and utilizing resources to propagate and promote Ayurveda around the world with the assistance of government, other NGOs, and followers; and safeguarding the interests of Ayurveda and its stakeholders by keeping a close eye on health policies, emerging trends, prevalent practices, and rules around the world and intervening timely.
